Windlesham House School Art Sale & Auction In Aid Of St Barnabas House
A group of charity volunteers, the Storrington Friends of St Barnabas House, are organising an art sale and auction at Windlesham House School on Saturday 19th October to raise funds for the Worthing-based hospice.
The group have carefully curated 70 pieces of collectable contemporary art, ranging from handmade ceramics to affordable prints, paintings and photography – all by established artists and makers, including Walter Keeler, Hala Sabet, Philippa Canaan, Kate Wickham, Karin Hay-White and Graham Murrell.
Storrington-based artist, John Mulligan, has organised the unique event, alongside Tricia Jeffs, who is also part of the Storrington Friends group.
John says, “I will always remember the kindness, care and compassion of the staff at St Barnabas House during our four admissions to the hospice with my late wife, Sue Barry This is in her memory and my way of saying a heartfelt thank you.”
Mary Bye, Community Fundraiser at St Barnabas House, says, “We are very excited about this event. I’d like to say a huge thank you to Storrington Friends for their ongoing support of St Barnabas House and to Windlesham House School for generously allowing the use of their wonderful facilities.”
