Pantomime Comes To Hurstpierpoint This January

It may have been delayed until January but now its all hands to the theoretical pump as the Hurstpierpoint Players plan for a spectacular opening show in their ‘new’ theatre.

The auditorium has been fully renovated, with new lighting and, as far as the audience is concerned, new, plush, comfortable seating. No need to bring along a cushion!

“The Wonderful Story of Mother Goose” is a truly traditional pantomime with all the essential elements and, of course, full audience participation led by Billy, Mother Goose’s irascible son. The wicked Squire’s bailiffs, Sage and Onions, cause the usual chaos – there are good and naughty fairies and the wonderful Mother Goose on hand to ensure that your experience of this first production in The Players Theatre will be a magical one.

Tickets are on sale now online at or in person from the Theatre Box Office in the High Street between 10 am and 1 pm on Saturday mornings.

Performances are from 17th – 19th January and 24th – 26th January with a choice of matinee or evening performances.
