Local economy set for rewarding jobs boost
A recruitment drive will see up to 70 full time equivalent roles filled at a brand new retirement village in rural West Sussex.
Over 400 applications were received locally for the advertised positions at Charters Village, which is currently being built on Felcourt Road, on the northern fringes of East Grinstead.
The majority of the jobs will be within the village’s on site nursing and residential centre, Charters Court. The 60 bedroomed facility has been designed to provide first class services to those requiring ongoing support to live in comfort and security.
Parent company Retirement Villages Group Ltd is now conducting second stage interviews for a range of roles incuding admin, domestic and support staff. A number of registered nursing jobs and deputy manager roles are still being advertised.
Paul Walsh, Managing Director of Care and Operations for Retirement Villages Group Ltd said, “Our aim is for Charters Village to become an integral part of the local community and the provision of jobs is a good starting point.
“We have already met with some strong candidates and the calibre overall has been very high.”
Successful interviewees will receive full induction training before starting employment when the village opens in December. For more information, please visit the website www.chartersvillage.co.uk
