Kids Go Free At Plumpton Racecourse On Easter Sunday And Easter Monday!
Plumpton Racecourse is getting “eggcited” for its two-day Easter Racing Festival on Easter Sunday 16th and Easter Monday 17th April. The family friendly event offers 7 top class national hunt races on each day, including the Sussex Champion Hurdle on Easter Sunday.
Attractions include a fun fair, free donkey rides, free horse hoppers, free climbing wall and much more. Get creative with the kids over the holidays and make an Easter Bonnet for the competition on Easter Sunday. Judged by Wocket Woy, the prize for the winning under 5 and 5 years and over categories is a day for all the family, at Fishers Farm Park.
Accompanied under 18’s go racing free. But it’s not all about the kids. There are also several competitions being run on the day. Complete a Totepool place pot and enter a prize draw to win a VIP experience in the parade ring and winner’s enclosure! Enter the free racecard competition for more great prizes. For the racing expert, Colin Brown, former jockey of Desert Orchid, will be on hand in between races, going through each day’s card, with hints and tips on how to pick a winner.

On Easter Monday, enjoy your own private suite, with balcony and views of the final furlong, racecourse entry and three course meal from £100 per person (based on a minimum of 8 guests).
Or why not book the Plumpton Marquee Restaurant, located by the final flight of fences and boasting a private lawn overlooking the course? The Marquee Restaurant can be booked online for £48 per person (£20 for young racegoers) when you purchase Grandstand and Paddock tickets in advance.
Racegoers are welcome to bring their own picnics into the centre of the course where they can enjoy a 360-degree view of the racing. Picnic enclosure tickets start at £10 per person when booked in advance. Grandstand and Paddock tickets are £16 in advance. On the gate prices are £15 and £21 respectively.
