Give The Gift of Christmas The Hassocks Hotel, Hassocks

The Toys and Tins Appeal will run until 15 December 2014. With Christmas fast approaching have a thought for those children who’s Christmas isn’t quite so special. This could be for a variety of reasons such as sickness, disability or perhaps the family just can’t afford presents this year. We are a small group of mums and volunteers who spend our spare time fund-raising to help other families through Christmas. We are asking the residents of Hassocks, Hurstpierpoint, Burgess Hill and Haywards Heath to help make sure underprivileged children in our area have gifts to open on Christmas Day. The public generously donated hundreds of toys last year and we are urging you do the same this year. You can donate new and good condition used toys at one of our drop off points: 197 Maple Drive, Burgess Hill and 3 Friars Close, Hassocks. Santa will give the gifts to the children at our Christmas Party at the Hassocks Hotel on Sunday 21st December 2014. There will be entertainment by Punch and Judy, a magic show and a visit from Burgess Hill Mascots. We also give families a Christmas Dinner Hamper so that they can enjoy the Christmas festive lunch which many people cannot afford. Please support this cause and put a smile on a child’s face this Christmas.
