Alzheimer’s Memory Walk, Augustinian Care

Alzheimer’s Memory Walk, Augustinian Care

The first Memory Walk for the Alzheimer’s Society to be held at Augustinian Care, St George’s Park, Ditchling will take place on Saturday 7th September 2019. Arrive at 10am for an 11am start.

For many years the Sisters and staff from Augustinian Care have joined in the Memory Walks, which are run by the Alzheimer’s Society. This year they thought it would be appropriate to hold their own, in the beautiful grounds of St George’s Park.

The meeting point will be at St Clare’s Care Home garden at 10am and there will be a choice of a 2km or 4km walk. For those that don’t wish to walk so far, the option of a short stroll will be available.

Entertainment and refreshments will be available, with free parking on the grounds (everything will be sign posted).

Augustinian Care would love to welcome you on the Memory Walk to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society research fund.

To take part in the walk we ask for a minimum donation of £5 on www.justgiving.com/fundraising/augustiniancarememorywalk

Once this has been done simply turn up on the day (meeting point at St Clare’s Home gardens). Walkers are also encouraged to organise their own sponsorship to gain as much as possible for this deserving cause.

All proceeds from the registration fees and or donations/sponsorship will go to the Alzheimer’s charity.
