Aldingbourne Trust – Messy Play Was A Big Hit
Parents and toddlers enjoyed a ‘Messy Play’ session, with activities with paints, play dough, water beads and edible materials. The 45 minute session allowed the children to explore their senses through touch and sight. Ginette Keet, our pre-school coordinator said “The sessions are aimed at giving your child the opportunity to mould and manipulate materials. This has an enormous impact on your child’s cognitive, creative and physical development.”
We also hosted a ‘Music and Movement’ class, where children participated in singing, dancing, games and instruments in a fun and lively class. Ginette explained, “this class is structured to fully support your child’s development in a fun and engaging way. During the session children will sing, dance play games and be provided with opportunities to enhance their confidence and self – esteem with child led activities.”
Louise Walker from Bognor Regis said “My daughter had so much fun, the messy play was a big hit and she really loved the music and dance too!”
“My little girl took part in some of the new pre-school sessions today and we can’t wait to book in September as they were brilliant!” said Sarah Jones from Chichester.
